S.O.S. – Sustainable Open Solutions for European urban waterfronts aims to develop new solutions that emerge from the present necessities. Why is it urgent to share, systematize and upgrade knowledge on the subject?
S.O.S. Climate Waterfront project gathers ten partners from Portugal, The Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Poland and Sweden to share their best practices, including research on waterfront projects that merge equipments as well as public spaces and infrastructures, projects that succeed in conquering public support and integrating the signs of the collective identity. Climate change solutions can only be successful in ensuring a resilient city if they also engage citizens, educating them about climate change challenges and solutions, and fostering possible changes in lifestyles.

On 12th February the Ostend Library gathered more than 20 librarians from all over Flanders / Belgium for the first dissemination event of the change making methodology prepared during the course of our I_Improve Erasmus+ European collaboration. The task was to disseminate findings from the process, which was created and implemented during our I_Improve project. Iwona Preis from Intercult was invited as lead partner and foreign participant to take part in the dissemination event.
Carnevale di Venezia is an annual event, but its dates change each year, 2019 celebrations has started on February the 16th and will carry on until the March the 5th.
The second meeting of the international project I_Improve partners (Innovative, Informal Methodologies for Practical, River-Oriented and Versatile Education) is taking place between January 16-19, 2019 in Ostend, Belgium.
